Dr Sue Holder has been an NHS Consultant Clinical Geneticist since 1994, having trained in Paediatrics before specialising in Genetics. Her particular expertise is in syndrome recognition/dysmorphology, including the craniosynostosis syndromes and other craniofacial conditions.

She advises on the investigation and management of dysmorphic conditions and explains the implications of a syndrome diagnosis in a child for the parents and other family members, as well as the risk of recurrence in future pregnancies. She also sees families affected by a wide range of inherited disorders, arranging investigations, including prenatal diagnosis, where possible and appropriate.
